Estate Rules
To help maintain a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable environment for all visitors, guests must comply with the following rules:
· Follow all posted signs and instructions provided by staff.
· Remain on designated pathways, walkways, and visitor-accessible areas.
· Respect the estate, its facilities, plants, animals, staff, volunteers, and fellow guests.
· Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children in their care at all times.
· Do not pick, cut, remove, or otherwise damage lavender plants, wildflowers, crops, trees, or other vegetation unless specifically authorized as part of an approved activity.
· Guests may not feed, chase, handle, enter animal enclosures, or otherwise interact with animals except as specifically permitted by staff or as part of an authorized activity.
· Smoking, vaping, and the use of cannabis products are prohibited anywhere on the estate.
· Drones, remote-controlled aircraft, and similar devices are not permitted without prior written authorization.
· Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless expressly authorized by Between the Vines. Water bottles and items required for medical or dietary needs are permitted.
· Pets are not permitted on the estate, except for service animals as required by applicable law.
· The use of personal speakers, amplified sound systems, or music that may disturb other guests is not permitted.
Assumption of Risk Notice
WARNING: under Ontario law, an agritourism provider is not liable for the death or injury or illness of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if that injury or death or illness results from the inherent risks of that agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land, equipment and animals as well as the potential for you as a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
By entering the estate, participating in activities, or purchasing admission, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above warning and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with visiting a working agricultural property.
Admission and Access
· Admission is required to access estate attractions, experiences, and visitor areas beyond the retail shop.
· Admission is valid only for the date and time purchased.
· Operating hours, attractions, activities, and services are subject to change without notice.
· Certain attractions, activities, animals, and areas of the estate may be unavailable due to weather conditions, maintenance, agricultural operations, animal welfare considerations, safety concerns, or special events.
· Flower bloom timing, crop conditions, seasonal displays, and agricultural attractions are dependent on weather, growing conditions, and other factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
· Between the Vines reserves the right to close the estate or portions of the estate due to weather, safety concerns, maintenance requirements, agricultural operations, special events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
· Entry to the estate is at your own risk.
Online Booking Terms
· Admission tickets, event registrations, workshops, photography reservations, and other experiences purchased through our online booking platform are subject to the applicable terms and conditions in effect at the time of booking.
· Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.
· Guests are responsible for ensuring that the contact information provided during booking is accurate and current.
· Between the Vines reserves the right to cancel, modify, reschedule, or refuse bookings where necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, agricultural activities, insufficient participation, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
· Certain events, workshops, photography sessions, private experiences, and premium offerings may be subject to separate booking, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies. Where such policies exist, they will be disclosed during the booking process and shall take precedence over the general admission policies.
· By completing a booking through our website or reservation platform, guests acknowledge that they have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions of Admission, Privacy Policy, Photography Policy, and any event-specific conditions applicable to their reservation.
Photography and Media Notice
Guests frequently take photographs and videos while visiting Between the Vines.
By entering the estate, guests acknowledge that photography, videography, and other recordings may occur in public areas of the property for promotional, marketing, educational, editorial, or archival purposes.
By entering the estate, guests grant Between the Vines the right to use photographs, videos, and recordings in which they may appear for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation or further notice.
Guests who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos should notify staff upon arrival and make reasonable efforts to avoid areas where organized photography or filming is taking place.
Professional and commercial photography remains subject to the Photography Policy and applicable booking requirements.
Right to Refuse Service
Between the Vines is dedicated to providing a welcoming, peaceful, and relaxing environment for all visitors.
We reserve the right to refuse service, deny admission, or require any guest to leave the estate, without refund, if they fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, violate estate rules, or engage in behaviour that is disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, unlawful, or otherwise detracts from the experience, safety, or well-being of other guests, staff, animals, or the property.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Between the Vines, its owners, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, delay, inconvenience, or expense arising from or relating to a guest’s visit to the estate, participation in activities, interaction with animals, exposure to natural conditions, weather, terrain, agricultural operations, or use of estate facilities.
Privacy Policy
Between the Vines respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
Information collected through our website, online booking platform, email communications, contests, newsletters, customer inquiries, and purchases may include your name, contact information, booking details, payment information, and other information voluntarily provided by you.
This information is collected and used solely for the purposes of:
- Processing bookings, purchases, and reservations;
- Communicating regarding admissions, events, and customer inquiries;
- Providing customer service and support;
